Tuesday Afternoon...

After a delicious lunch at a Polish restaurant, we went to a mosque. We went inside where the local Imam explained the Islamic faith and their way of worship. We had the chance to meet Muslims and ask questions which was very interesting. After this we went back to the Hope Center in order to get ready for prayer walks with Jonathan.  During prayer walks, we walk around the streets of Hamtramck and pray for people and situations we run into. We split up into two groups and went down a busy street in the neighborhood. Our group met a guy who asked for 25 cents. Instead we gave him 5 dollars and prayed for his hurting shoulder as well as relief from his grief of losing his mother a few years ago. The other group also had great experiences with locals. We also had fun watching a cop pull 7 people over just in the hour we were there!
